Abstract
The present article aims to develop a domesticated model for performance assessment of the National Media (IRIB) human capital. The article, first, explains the role and functions of media and conceptualizes the performance assessment and its functions in relation to Iranian radio and television organization, and then, develops components, principles and indicators of a performance assessment model suitable for National Media. A descriptive-survey method was used in this research. The proposed human capital performance assessment model for IRIB is based on three pillars: a) assessment of professional capabilities and competencies with 5 subcomponents and 150 behavioral indications based on 360 degree assessment; b) System-based performance assessment with 7 subcomponents based on systematic assessment; c) Group performance assessment with 8 subcomponents and based on organizational-unit assessment.
