Abstract

Lack of a comprehensive business model for maximizing the use of capacity of mobile smartphones to generate revenue in IRIB is a serious emerging problem. The purpose of the article was a suggesting mobile smartphone-based business model to increase the revenue of IRIB recruiting mobile smartphones. For this purpose, the customized Strooleder business model was used as the theoretical framework, and the Delphi method was used for data analysis. The main findings of the study were infrastructure and platform development, recruing and maintening expert human resources, producing with regard to diversity and plurality to satisfied the needs of all audience groups so producing suitable exellent content, cooperate with all actors in the production arena, distributing and policy making of content alongside creating a content marketplace for audio and video production, taking a role of regulator and using specific capacities of the organization (such as archive) in line with the national media ecosystem. This model could be a theoritical basis for media activities of broadcasting organizations on the new media such as mobile platforms.
