This is a survey-based research carried out in the current year with 417 samples from Districts 1 to 5. The findings indicate that there is a reverse correlation between watching Persian language satellite TV channels and youths' political culture; in other words, those young people who watch Persian language satellite TV channels have a passive political culture. Furthermore, as the level of exposure increases, the youths' political trust (in society institutions) decreases.</em> <em>Opening review and criticizing of </em><em>Legislative assembly,</em><em>Judiciary and Executive </em><em>and other</em><em> state institutions</em><em> performance in the IRIB to engage people to interaction with officials is one of the steps that can be the way to confronting with Persian-language satellite network news programs. </em> هدف مقاله حاضر، بررسی نقش شبکه‌های فارسی‌زبان ماهواره‌ای بر فرهنگ سیاسی جوانان شهر تهران بوده است. این مطالعه به روش پژوهش پیمایشی، با جمعیت نمونه 417 نفری از جوانان مناطق 1 تا 5 شهر تهران و در اردیبهشت سال 1394 انجام شده است. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد، بین تماشای شبکه‌های ماهواره‌ای فارسی‌زبان و فرهنگ سیاسی جوانان همبستگی معکوس وجود دارد؛ به بیان دیگر، جوانانی که شبکه‌های ماهواره‌ای فارسی‌زبان را تماشا می‌کنند، فرهنگ سیاسی منفعلانه‌ای دارند. همچنین با افزایش تماشای شبکه‌های ماهواره‌ای فارسی‌زبان از میزان اعتماد سیاسی جوانان (اعتماد به نهادهای مختلف جامعه) کاسته می‌شود. باز شدن فضای نقد و بررسی عملکرد قوای سه‌گانه و سایر نهادهای دولتی در رسانه ملی به منظور تعامل با مردم و مسئولان، یکی از گام‌هایی اساسی است که می‌تواند در راه مقابله با برنامه‌های خبری شبکه‌های ماهواره‌ای فارسی‌زبان برداشته شود. http://cr.iribresearch.ir/article_18823_a269ef5c1e7623a02a651fad5f2b8905.pdf
