The statistical population was all students at two faculties of law and political science, and communication science at Allameh Tabataba'i university. A total of 321 students were selected through simple random sampling. The Keyes mental health questionnaire (2002), miller and smith lifestyle questionnaire (2001) and Khoushavi religious identity questionnaire (2011) were used to collect data in this study. The results of independent t-test and multivariate analysis of variance showed that the level of mental health (p=‌0.0001), lifestyle level (p=‌0.0001) and religious identity (p=‌0.0001) of common users are significantly higher than the active users.
