Survey on 'Radio Salamat' Programs in Tehran By: Mohammad

Abstract

This article is based on a research carried out in IRIB Research Center in 2006. The research involved 867 citizens above the age of 15 from Tehran. The survey was conducted and the individuals' opinions were sought on how much they listened to the 'Radio Salamat' (Health Redio) programs and, if any, how much they were satisfied with the programs.
Categories like the number of audience, the extent of usage, and interesting subjects related to health, were focused in the survey.
Of the most important results of the study are the followings:
-Only 17.6 percent of the respondents were among the audience.
-27 percents of the listeners were 'very much' satisfied, 9.8 percents were 'much' satisfied, and 9.8 percents were 'little' satisfied with the contents of the programs.
