The Distinct Boundaries of Cultural Goods Consumption: Music Consumption among Youth (Case Study: Students of Allameh Tabatabaee)

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the distinct boundaries in the area of music consumptionamongyouth.We invents survey research method and research questionnaire.All students of Allameh Tbatabaeehave formedsample population, which 315 people of themhave randomlyselected; theregression analysis shows that the degree of religiosityhas significant relationship with all musical preference components of traditional and folk music of ethnic minorities,except the Iranian pop music that produced in Iran.The analysis of mean differencesalsoshowthatonly within the variables of pop music produced inside of the country and folk musical of ethnic minorities’ there are significant differences between men and women preferences.The results indicate the not-so-systematicrelationship between the incomes on musical preferences of Iranian youth.According to our findings, identifying the cultural needs of youthin the field of musical preferencesand appropriately respond to those needs is particularly important.
