Electoral Behavior of Iranian Ethnicities in the Eleventh Presidential Election (Case: Baluchi and Turkmen Ethnicity)

Abstract
Electoral behavior is an act that occurs from the beginning to the end of election. Electoral behavior is influenced by socio-cultural, political, economic, psychological, environmental, and geographical issues in all socio-political systems. The main purpose of the present study is to explain the electoral behavior of the baluchi and turkmen ethnicity in the eleventh presidential elections in iran. The research was conducted through survey and was applied in terms of the purpose. Data was collected by the researcher-made questionnaire which was confirmed in terms of validity and reliability. Statistical population was 18 years old and 800 people were selected as sample size using cochran formula. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between social capital (trust and social tie), cultural capital (objective and subjective) and irib programs with electoral behavior. According to the results of the path analysis, social capital has a more contribution in explaining electoral behavior than other variables.
