Abstract

Iranians have long expressed their feelings in the form of poetry, words or writings, and considered poetic expression more eloquent and effective. There are many various themes including advice, humor, Romance, historical, societal, and so on in the relevant remnants. Iranian poetic literature is still novel, and passing of time has not been able to forget it. This literature, as a cultural and national characteristic, has already taken on transnational dimensions and has attracted the attention of artists, writers and intellectuals through the world. The present study with a practical purpose, while understanding the necessity and importance of preserving this cultural heritage, examines the connection between Iranian poetic literature and this art by reviewing the unique features of animation. In this article, first, the literature and its Stylistic devices are defined; such as Personification, metaphor, symbol, etc. Then Based on the theoretical foundations of cinema and animation, favored samples were purposefully selected including "Zal and Simorgh", "Rostam and Esfandiar", "Wall and Water", "In the waves of the Indus River", "If spring does not come" and "Seven" City» from poetic animations taken from old and novel poetry, and they were analyzed. The main purpose of this article is how to use poetic literature in the expressive and structural style of animation. The research method was Qualitative, with a descriptive and formalistic approach, and based on library and audio and video archive sources.
