Abstract
With the expansion of social relations, the realization of justice not only in the economic aspect, but also in other dimensions such as judicial justice, environmental justice, and media justice has attracted the attention of experts and concerned people. In the meantime, media justice is a new concept that, despite theoretical gaps, has gained great importance due to the pervasiveness and influence of the media in human life, and its realization in the national media has gained great importance. The main goal of this research is to identify and analyze the challenges facing the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization in realizing media justice and to provide practical solutions to overcome these challenges. The present research was conducted using qualitative research methods, specifically content analysis. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 7 experts, university professors, and media managers. According to the research findings, the most important challenges identified included: technical and infrastructural limitations, financial dependence on the government, self-censorship, pressure from governing institutions, centralization, and weak media literacy. The proposed solutions also include: decentralization, use of new technologies, media literacy training, drafting transparent laws, and establishing accountability mechanisms. The results of this research show that achieving media justice in the national media requires serious management determination, a review of macro-policies, strengthening infrastructure, empowering audiences, and creating an atmosphere of trust and transparency. This research also shows that media justice is a key factor in increasing the legitimacy and efficiency of the national media and strengthening social cohesion.
