The increasing use of artificial intelligence in the media ecosystem, along with the unique opportunities it provides for improving the quality of content production, can pose serious challenges to the quality, standardization, and coherence of the use of the Persian language in the Iranian Broadcasting Organization in the absence of a strategic framework. Accordingly, the present study aims to design a strategic model for using artificial intelligence to preserve the Persian language in this organization; a model that can create a balance between technological innovations, media efficiency, and linguistic-cultural requirements. This research is applied-developmental in terms of purpose and has a qualitative approach. Data were collected in two parts: documentary (review of scientific literature to develop an initial framework) and field. In the field section, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 experts in the fields of media, Persian language, and artificial intelligence, who were selected through purposive sampling, until conceptual saturation was achieved. The data were analyzed using the content analysis method, and the reliability of the coding was confirmed using the Holst coefficient. Based on the research findings, 104 basic categories, 37 central categories (model components), and 5 macro categories (model dimensions) were identified. The final dimensions of this model include “leadership and policymaking,” “technology and infrastructure,” “intelligent language production and monitoring,” “education and culture building,” and “continuous evaluation and improvement.” The results showed that the proposed model provides a framework for the targeted use of artificial intelligence and strengthening language governance in the national media by linking policymaking, language infrastructure, content production monitoring, human resource training, and continuous evaluation.
